Preparing for CNY 2018 ~~~ Missha 7 days colour treatment review & new nail!!!!

It's new year eve tomorrow, so it's time to polish my look for Chinese New Year!!! I dyed my hair two weeks ago to cover up my roots. I like it very much but for Chinese New Year, I would like to try another colour. Few months ago I bought a colour treatment from Shopee, Missha 7 days colour treatment. It will dye your hair without causing any damage, instead it will help to recover your hair. The colour will slower fade away after every wash. It is very suitable for those who are interested to change their hair colour but do not want it to be permanent. Based on the reviews from the Internet, it does not work very well on dark hair. This is how my hair looks after dyeing it two weeks ago.

I actually bought three different colours, one pack each because I would like to try out all the colours. For Chinese New Year, I go for the colour Cherry Red.

Many reviewers used more than one pack of the hair treatment for long hair. I was quite worried at first as I only had one pack. It was quite easy to use, just applied it on moist hair and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Then, rinsed it off like normal conditioner. My hair was dry and got tangled easily before I use the treatment. In fact, my hair became softer and smoother after the treatment and the result is as below. It look a little lighter at the end because of the lighting. The effect was very good under the sun.

Due to my job, I was not able to have pretty nails with nice nail polish. I need to stay in a food lab where nail polish and perfume are not allowed. Since I will be travelling on business trip soon, I might have some "time-off" from boring plain nails. So, I decided to paint my nails for Chinese New Year as well. The nail polish I used is from a friend of mine and I though it was perfect for Chinese New Year. It was Daring Graffiti (678) from Revlon.

It had been a looooong time since I last painted my nails, the result is a bit messy and I bet it would look a lot better on longer nails but I think it was the best I can do.

I guess I am all ready for Chinese New Year this year!!! All red this year!!! Ong ong ong!!!
