In order to prepare myself for this CNY, I decided to purge my closet and get rid of clothes that I am not wearing anymore. There are many ways you can get rid of these old clothes. You can sell it off as fabric , giving it to the need (if it is still in good condition) or you can be like me, bring it to H&M and exchabge it for a 15% voucher for each bag of clothes. They accept clothing of any brands and any condition. Each bag shall contain at least 4 pieces of clothing. I love to shop at H&M, so that is what I do.
I spent this morning cleaning up my room and also my closet and I ended up with this pile of clothes. These clothes are either old or they have stains or holes on them which makes me feel guilty to donate to others. I'm glad that I can exchange those with 15% voucher from H&M. I put at least 4 of them in a bag and bring it with me to Aeon Tebrau City with me.
It was so crowded to day in Aeon Tebrau City. Many Singaporeans and Johoreans were out doing their CNY shopping. When I reach H&M, the bright, fierce red decorations and clothings hit me.
There are many new styles and promotions for CNY. Now they have even greater promotion which is "Buy 2 get 1 free" for the deal items.
I head straight to the counter to redeem the voucher before I start shopping. The procedure is super easy. I just handed the employee my clothes and they gave me two vouchers in return of two bags of used clothes.
As I mentioned earlier there are a lot of sales but I'd bought quite a lot of new clothes throughout the year. I need to control my urge of buying more stuff. I ended up buying only two white spaghetti string singlet that I needed for some of my formal shirts as they are a little bit see-through and I use the voucher immediately.
In fact, I can keep it for next time as the voucher will only expire on 31st Jan 2019. I should have keep it for next time when I buy something more expensive but I think I will get the voucher again soon.(You know what I mean?)πππ
